Complete programs for K-12 schools

The Code Red Lockdown Training was developed by a team with backgrounds in classroom teaching, district safety and law enforcement as the K-12 school companion training to post-Columbine police procedures. The 30 minute training covers lockdown, classroom management in high anxiety situations and evacuation. The training is non-threatening, easy to understand and materials include a step-by-step drill template so that annual drills can be easily conducted.

The Code Red Lockdown training includes a locked DVD and online access to all supporting downloadable documents, including a step-by-step drill template for a one-time fee of $499.

NIMS Training Package

National Incident Management System

Under Homeland Security Presidential Directive 5, all public agencies, including schools, must have the National Incident Management System (NIMS) in place as their emergency management system. Our 30 minute basic NIMS training video was designed by public safety officers and educators with the focus on the staff roles and responsibilities of emergency management as well as how schools fit into the bigger NIMS picture.

The Basic NIMS training includes a locked DVD and online access to all supporting downloadable documents for a one-time fee of $499.

Once the training DVD is purchased for a school for a one-time fee, the DVD and companion training materials may be used for future years without incurring on-going licensing fees. After the initial training, many clients show one or two components of the training DVD at their back-to-school inservice so that teachers and staff know their roles and responsibilities during an emergency for the upcoming school year, while others show the training as a refresher prior to a drill or functional exercise.

The program is licensed to one school and is not to be shared (NDS/Confidentiality Agreement)
