The Code Red Lockdown Training and was developed by front-line professionals with extensive backgrounds in classroom teaching, district safety and law enforcement. The 30-minute training covers lockdown, classroom management in high anxiety situations, and evacuation. The lockdown training is non-threatening, easy to understand, and easily implemented. Scripted drill procedures are also included.

While many lockdowns are generically described as “code red,” our Code Red Lockdown Protocols are the only Armed Intruder/Active Shooter school response program that is fully integrated with law enforcement's post-Columbine first responder procedures while focused on the realities and needs of the classroom.
We understand that lockdowns and active shooters can be a frightening topic to address; however, explaining to parents and staff why nothing was in place to save lives after an event is an even harder topic.
It is the only program of its kind that can be immediately implemented and as easy as conducting earthquake or fire drills.

Once the training DVD is purchased for a school for a one-time fee, the DVD and companion training materials may be used for future years without incurring on-going licensing fees. After the initial training, many clients show one or two components of the training DVD at their back-to-school in-service so that teachers and staff know their roles and responsibilities during an armed intruder/active shooter incident for the upcoming school year, while others show the training as a refresher prior to a lockdown drill.
